Creation of a national public authority network for 56,000 workstations
Informatikzentrum Niedersachen (izn) operates a modern, high-speed network in the form of iznNet 2000. The joint information and communications structure for municipal administrations, police and justice authorities was built as a three-stage network with high failure safety. After a request for proposals from bidders throughout Europe, the award for implementation of the IP structure and the network management concept as well as the creation of a VoIP concept for the national public authorities network that connects a total of 56,000 workstations at 1,850 locations was received by NK Networks & Services.
